IBF Mission

  • To let the God’s word (the Bible, the gospel of the Lord Jesus) speak on God’s own terms, in God’s own way to Curtin students, helping and equipping students to read and comprehend the Bible for themselves, in context, chapter by chapter, section by section, from the Bible.
  • We do so prayerfully, praying that people may come to:
    a) trust in the Lord and Saviour, Jesus:
“So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ’
    b) be disciples-making-other-disciples of the Lord Jesus, themselves
having gone, then, disciple all the nations, (baptizing them — to the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit,  teaching them to observe all, whatever I did command you,) and lo, I am with you all the days — till the full end of the age”.  Matthew 28:19-20
  • We do so believing Jesus is the centre and fulfilment of the whole Bible.
We do so trusting what Jesus himself taught: that his death, resurrection to God’s right hand, and God’s message of his Lordship and salvation must go to the ends of the world
“and said to them, “Thus it is written,
that the Christ should suffer and on the third day rise from the dead,
and that repentance and forgiveness of sins should be proclaimed in his name to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem”.
    Luke 24:46-47
